This experience is all about reimagining what an office can be. We’re talking less cubicles and conference calls, and more creativity and community.
The BLAC Market
Celebrate Juneteenth at The BLAC Market, a curated marketplace highlighting Black artists, makers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses from across our community. Spend the afternoon supporting Black-owned brands, discovering unique goods, and enjoying bites from Wise Guys Ribs & Wings. Join us at Studio Ours to #ShopBLAC from 10am to 3pm.
B.L.A.C. Fest
B.L.A.C. Fest — Black Legacy of Arts and Culture Festival, is a Black History Month weekend celebration (Feb 20–22, 2026) honoring the creativity, history, and cultural impact of Black artistry. This festival is presented by The Pop-up Project in collaboration with Providence Newson Dance Company and SOBI.
Expect a multi-disciplinary lineup:
Art CHATT: Framework | Mixer, live music, featured visual art, preview performance from Providence Newson Dance Co, and a panel + audience Q&A
Providence Newson Dance Co: Beyond the Frame | Dance that translates Black visual art into movement with talkbacks and a mix-and-mingle
Frame by Frame | Short film screening + filmmaker Q&A
B.L.A.C. Fest creates a visible, connected platform for Black artists across disciplines and invites Chattanooga to show up for the legacy and the future being shaped in real time.
Club Art Tour
We’re pulling up to some of your favorite bars with a canvas, paint, and a wild idea… what if the club was the gallery?
Club Art is our latest pop-up experience: part party, part art installation, fully communal.
Each stop on the tour features curated sounds and creative elements unique to the space — no two nights are the same. All night long, we’ll be building a live, collaborative piece with whoever wants to get in the paint. No pressure, no perfection.
Why? Introducing art into nightlife allows for us to bring community into the spaces where we tend to connect the most, but rarely deeply. Through this experience, our mission is to create an opportunity for people to truly see what it feels like to build something together.
All artwork created at each pop-up will be featured at our next Art CHATT event, showcased as one collective project.
